In this watercolor painting I tried to capture the quiet elegance of Cracow on a rainy evening. The fluidity of the medium mirrors the soft reflections on the wet streets, blurring the line between past and present as the iconic horse-drawn carriage moves through the rain. The washes of color evoke a sense of serenity and nostalgia, allowing the viewer to feel the city’s timeless charm under a delicate veil of rain.
