“On the Edge”, from Echoes of Vietnam Series by Minh Dam

This piece is the second in a set of two paintings that tell the story of a Vietnamese girl navigating a challenging, depressive period in her life. In this painting, titled “On the Edge,” she begins to move forward, showing her determination to take control of her own fate. The rocks symbolize life’s hardships, while the waves represent the obstacles we must overcome. With strength and confidence, she crosses this difficult path to reach her goal.
